Can you give me advice on colours for a project I have in mind?

Of course! Send me a message on our Contact us page and I can send through photos of your combinations prior to purchase. I also love to help with advice of gifts for knitting and crochet friends.

How will my yarn arrive?

With the exception of our White Gum Wool collection, yarn will arrive in skeins. This will need to be wound into a ball either by hand or with a yarn winder. This can be done for you for additional cost.

You may also notice that your good are wrapped in preloved packaging. While we are looking for the best options going forward that will protect our products and the environment, we are reusing packaging items in order to minimise waste.

Where do you source your yarn and fibre?

I thoroughly research my suppliers to ensure they are Australian grown fibres from Australian businesses.

My recycled yarn is primarily found from charity shops, examined, washed and skeined. I love that charities are being supported at the same time that textiles are getting new lives.

What is the story behind your scrappy projects?

In an effort to minimise textile waste, I have upcycled scraps of fabric from my personal projects into new products. Hence each one is unique.

Will the colour of my products differ from that on the screen?

Every effort has been made to photograph the natural colour of each product. However differences between screens may result in a slightly inaccurate representation. Additionally the hand dyed yarns vary from batch to batch and so there may be subtle differences even between skeins.

If you would like to see the yarn for yourself, simply send a self addressed envelope and I can send you a sample of the product you are interested in
